My name is Bill Hagerty. I started my journey to make money online a few years ago. 2006 I think it was. Well, the journey has been an interesting one.

I feel like I’m going to spoil the ending to a good movie by telling you how my life is now. So instead of throwing out affiliate network screenshots and pictures of my bank account, I’ll just tell you that I’m going pretty good.

Wikipedia has a pretty good definition of Internet Marketing. I really like that definition. Seriously, there isn’t much about Internet Marketing or making money online that is a “secret”. As much as the Gurus would like you to think that unlocking a door will make you super wealth, it won’t. Really there isn’t too much secret.

There are a lot of false claims out there, and even more systems that don’t work.

You can work hard in a physical job and still make money. But if you don’t work SMART online, you will never make money. You can work all day, but if you have the wrong system or the wrong mindset you will never make it.

Really, there are a million ways to make money online. Probably more than that actually. Adwords, SEO, Facebook, Twitter, Digg, oh man, it goes on and on. CPA, Affiliate marketing, drop shipping, product creation, article marketing. Man, it makes me crazy just thinking about it.

Your goal should be to focus on just 1 method for making money online. Keep your eye on that and don’t do anything else. That’s what I did, eventually. Before that I was struggling every moment. After I started focusing, everything became easier.

My goal with this blog is not only to show you how to make money online, but to show you the mindset needed to do it without going totally crazy and not making money.
